For the 6th Time Azoty Tarnów in the RESPECT Index
The Warsaw Stock Exchange published the results of the 6th edition of the RESPECT Index. Zakłady Azotowe w Tarnowie-Mościcach S.A. were listed in the Index for the 6th time.

The company is continuously listed in the RESPECT Index from the very start.  

In its portfolio the RESPECT Index has the companies from the Warsaw Stock Exchange functioning in accordance with the highest standards of the corporate social responsibility. On 24th January 2013 the Warsaw Stock Exchange announced the new listing of the Index of the companies responsible – RESPECT Index. The new listing of the Index will be valid since 1st February. The Index includes 20 companies:1. Apator S.A.2. Bank BPH S.A.3. Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A.4. Bank Millennium S.A.5. Budimex S.A.6. Pelion Healthcare Group S.A. 14. Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. 15. Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN S.A.16. Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A.17. Powszechny Zakład Ubezpieczeń S.A.18. The choice of the companies, which are finally included in the Index, is made in accordance with the procedure aiming at the three-stage process. 

The first stage takes place without the participation of the companies themselves and is based on indicating the companies with the highest liquidity, namely those listed in WIG20, mWIG40 and sWIG80.In the framework of the second stage, the Warsaw Stock Exchange together with the Polish Association of Listed Companies grades the companies on the basis of the public information (e.g. reports and internet sites of the companies). The main criteria are the lack of any sanctions imposed by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and Warsaw Stock Exchange within the range of the disclosure obligations’ fulfillment as well as impeccable reporting within the range of corporate governance and information governance.

The third stage requires the companies’ involvement, which are asked to fill in the surveys. The surveys investigate in a detailed way the level and the extent of activities’ complexity held by the companies and addressed to the group of the stakeholders in the following categories: strategy and management of the organization, environmental factors, employee politics and employee relations, as well as market and clients.
